Morse College from A to Z
By David Voorhes
As I look at Louise Abel's picture at the beginning of our new web-based class book, I keep thinking that she is getting way more face time than those of us stuck near the end of the alphabet. We all know that Louise is special--she is a Morsel after all--but she is also, quite literally, at the head of our class.
Poor Andrew Zydney, another Morsel, stuck at the end of our class! That 'z-y' combo is pretty tough to beat. In high school, I shared a home room for four years with the last twenty people in our high school class's alphabet. At that time, I never thought I would meet somebody who would surpass our Norman Zwolinski. But then I went to Yale, and met Andrew.
Twenty-five years ago Morse '80 was well known for our eccentricities--after all, we had a 15 feet high lipstick in our courtyard--but despite this reputation, I think we can safely say that the Yale Class of 1980 begins and ends with Morse!
