It’s Reunion Time!

Welcome back to the Class of 1980 Web site, where you can find the latest information about our 30th Reunion, coming up May 27-30, 2010. To demonstrate that we may be Old Blues--but not old fogeys, we’re also providing reunion updates on Facebook and Twitter. We hope you’ll check here periodically to learn what classmates are up to--and share what you’re doing, too. Our interactive set-up lets you update your online profile in the Class Book, upload new photos or add links to Web pages and blogs. Remember, our site is password-protected, so only other classmates will see what you post.

To mark the three decades since Yale sent us out into the world with crisp new diplomas, we’ve planned some special events. Come spend Friday night at the Yale Farm, part of the Yale Sustainable Food Project, for pizza baked in an outdoor brick oven with locally grown ingredients that we hear rivals Sally’s (or Pepe’s depending on your loyalties). Tour the newly renovated Yale Art Gallery (still closed during our 25th Reunion), listen to a special Yale ’80 Whiffenpoofs concert, and wrap up the weekend with a Sunday beach party in Madison, Conn., on the shore of Long Island Sound.

Don’t forget to encourage your roommates, friends, lab partners and former crushes to spend a great weekend in New Haven for our 30th Reunion!
